Bringing Big Christmas Magic to Small Town America 

Hello, let me introduce myself, I am Santa Jim Clark. For much of my 57 years I have held a magical place in my heart for Old Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, Santa. Maybe it was the classic tv specials, movies, or seeing Santa’s in stores, something about donning the red suit has always called to me. 
At a Christmas party in 2020, I painted my natural beard white and wore a red hoodie and of course a Santa hat. Everyone loved it and suggested I would make an awesome Santa. After some discussion, my wife Nancy agreed to let me try it. She knew all too well that I always jump in with both feet, and so the journey began.

In 2022, after assembling an outfit I posted some marketplace pictures and was immediately hired by the town of Saint Maries, Idaho to be the town Santa for the whole day. It was a whirlwind start that included reading to a library full of children, greeting them for pictures, and finally being in the parade. The town has had me back every year since.

My second gig, a couple days later, was a speaking part in a commercial for a car dealership in Spokane, WA

Since then my primary focus has been in-home visits, schools and company events. In 2023, my wife joined me as Mrs Claus and we have a lot of fun working together.

Along the way I got the idea for a traveling venue where I could have quality control over the photo background, and the ability to visit places that may not have a place nearby for children to visit Santa.

In January 2026, I started construction of Santa’s Chalet. What began as a thought, then an AI drawing, became an actual tiny home on a trailer. Built with my own two hands in my driveway over the course of 6 months.

The 2026 Christmas season will be our first year operating the Chalet.
